Mine Overseer at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Overseer to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for leading mining operations to ensure safe production delivery, operational efficiency and continuous improvement against business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate safe and efficient execution of short- to medium-term production plans.
• Manage operational teams and support frontline leadership to optimise performance and accountability.
• Coordinate production activities, resource allocation and operational logistics to ensure effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and operational standards.
• Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct inspections, identify operational risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate operational challenges and develop practical solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
• Support budgeting, cost control and sustainable operational performance.
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to support operational objectives.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 5 years' experience as a Mine Overseer within an underground mining environment
• 3-5 years' experience in a deep level trackless mine
• Mine Overseer's Certificate of Competency
• Proven experience in implementing and driving operational SHE initiatives and campaigns.
• Sound knowledge of applicable Mine Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering operational projects and managing contractor activities.
• Valid Driver's License
