    National Sales People Support Manager

    Description

    The Sales People Support Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the People Support (PS) function for the Sales department for South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and eSwatini.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and deliver an integrated PS strategy for Sales as part of the Sales Management team.
    • Influence, contribute and advise as the subject matter expert to all line Management on key PS and people's decisions.
    • Provide operational support and leadership on all PS related interventions.
    • Provide comprehensive guidance to all PS interventions inclusive but not limited to talent management, recruitment & selection, labour relations, performance enhancement,
    •  Employment Equity, compensation and benefits, training and development, project management, employee wellness and organizational development.
    • Support leaders to embed and maintain the company’s culture and values.
    • Be involved in wage negotiations, and Labour Relations;
    • Provide leadership and development to the Sales PS team;
    • Manage the People Support budget for the Sales Department;
    • Integrate, contribute, be part of, and align to Central Office PS functions;
    • Manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an integrated people support service.
    • Facilitate and be the champion of Change Management.
    • Understand, keep abreast of, anticipate and interpret the complexity of people impacts due to the changing macro and micro environments

    Requirements

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • 3 Year Degree/National Diploma in Human Resource Management essential with 3-5 years People Support Senior management experience
    • Confident and emotionally mature PS professional who can work independently, nationally and across multiple stakeholders in a Sales environment
    • Sound knowledge of IR/ER, PEP’s policy, working methods and practices.
    • PC literacy essential (Google Cloud, Planning System Knowledge)
    • Understanding of buying & supply chain processes
