Office Administrator Graphic Design ( MIdrand) at Construction Education & Training Authority (CETA)

JOB PURPOSE AND PROFILE

To create graphics and visual images for the CETA communication campaigns, ensuring brand uniformity. The graphics and visual images will be placed on all CETA communication platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements.
• Creating images and layouts by using design software/s.
• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and or marketing campaign.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
• Develop illustrations.
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
• Produce final designs aligned with the CI manual.
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand (In alignment with the CETA CI manual)
• Testing graphics across various media
• Provide administrative support to the marketing unit.
• Provide reports as and when needed.
• Support and provide evidence to all internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain quality risk management standards in line with relevant requirements.
• Adhere to all relevant laws, policies and Standard Operating Procedures throughout the organisation.
• Contribute to the review and update of the departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure all work performed is backed up regularly as per ICT policies onto the CETA electronic servers.
• Build and maintain relationships with all CETA business units for the purposes of expectations management and knowledge sharing.
• Provide advocacy on matters related to CI manual and design. Make informed recommendations.
• Represent and participate in the organisation’s committees and tasks teams when required. 
• Implement timeous communication on progress and challenges in achieving the tactical work plans.
• Attend and address all internal stakeholder queries timeously and effectively.
• Attendance to development workshops and interventions as per agreed Individual Development Plan (IDP).
• Timeous submission of performance agreements and reviews.

Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

• A highest qualification in Graphic design or other relevant qualifications.
• Experience in graphic design.
• Good understanding of design software.
• Good understanding of social media.
• MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
