Office Cleaner - Northam Development at Redpath Mining

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Literacy and Numeracy at NQF level 2/ equivalent
• Medically fit
• Valid First Aid Certificate

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Previous experience as a cleaner with verifiable references
• Knowledge of MHSA
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain acceptable housekeeping in the facilities and general area of responsibilities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning and disinfecting kitchen, offices and boardroom and other common areas to prevent spread of germs
• Emptying wastebaskets, recycling bins, and ensuring proper disposal
• Maintain an inventory of supplies needed for the facility i.e., cleaning chemicals, towels, protective clothing
• Reporting unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor
• Ensuring meeting rooms are tidy and ready for use
