Operational Manager Nursing: General (Post Natal & Women's Health Unit) at Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):

• Good Managerial, supervisory and decision-making skills. Computer literate (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge and insight of legislation and policies, relevant to the current nursing practice within the Public Service. Disciplinary and conflict management skills. Ability to function independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Basic R425 qualification (i.e., diploma/degree) in Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) in Professional Nurse and Midwife/Accoucheur.
