Operations Manager: Rustenburg at Epiroc

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible to develop national business strategy relating to aftermarket activities for mining operations, with close collaboration with area managers
• Supervision and management of staff – to ensure operations are carried on in an appropriate cost-effective way
• Facilitate inter-departmental communication
• Allocate tasks and resources as needed to efficiently and effectively run the contract
• Manage the maintenance of machines according to the customer MCOP
• Maintain budgets and forecasts
• Improve performance, mentor team members, recruit and supervise staff
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels
• Responsible to develop annual business plan relating to customers assigned from time to time
• Responsible to maintain and increase customer share for customers assigned to from time to time
• Responsible for all PSD campaigns released by PC relating to safety, warranty and product improvement
• Responsible for receivables for customers assigned
• Responsible to develop and maintain a team of product support to service underground customers nationally
• Develop, maintain and manage the automation competency hub
• Manage product support assigned to responsible customers
• Ensure Product Support manage customers based on a well-developed tactical matrix
• Maintain and develop good relationships with key individuals at customers
• Responsible to apply business intelligence to stock holding decisions
• A good understanding of aftermarket business with experience of mining beneficial

Educational Qualifications:

• Trade test is non-negotiable,
• B:Ttech Advanced Diploma or Degree NQF level 7 advantageous
