Operator Plumber Long Grade at Johannesburg Water

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Construct, operate and maintain the water reticulation and metering system in accordance with productivity norms, service standards and Water by-laws. Monitor the effective utilization, development and motivation of personnel.
• Maintain viable industrial relations and maintain good communication patterns that comply with the company’s vision mission, objectives as well as core values.
• Maintain good relations with customers. Ensure all work is being carried out within statutory safety conditions as laid down in OHASA. Be expected to work overtime, standby, weekend and night work as and when required

JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 9 or Abet Level 4 (Literacy and Numeracy) NQF 1
• 2 years’ experience in operation and maintenance of water reticulation
• Valid Code 10 Drivers License with PrDP
