Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll using the company’s payroll system, ensuring timely and accurate wage computations, deductions, and statutory contributions.
Maintain and update employee records, including attendance, leave, benefits, and salary changes.
Ensure full compliance with South African labour laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Generate detailed payroll reports for management review, audits, and year-end processes.
Address payroll-related queries from employees and liaise with HR regarding new hires, terminations, and adjustments.
Collaborate with finance and HR teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless payroll operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in payroll administration or a similar role, with a strong understanding of South African payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SimplePay, Sage Payroll, ADP, or equivalent systems) and advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with integrated HR and time/attendance systems is a plus.
High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in handling financial data.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
