To provide full range of P&O Business Partnering responsibilities to a dedicated client group and be responsible for a specific area of the function for the successful delivery of P&O programs/policies.
Major Accountabilities
Implement processes and standards for all associates, recruiting, selection, and staffing activities. Drive high level staffing searches and placements.
Identify optimal solutions that meet the needs of the People & Organization function by recommending process improvements, system enhancements, and alternatives based on specific needs as defined by current versus future P&O practices, including project planning and management, stakeholder engagement, tracking and execution.
Ensure the operational conversion of the P&O strategic goals within a dedicated client group.
Coordinate and support the implementation of various P&O processes such as recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, talent management, succession planning and OTR to achieve the Unit’s goals, in close cooperation with the respective process expert(s).
Implement manpower plans in alignment with the client’s Business plan.
Compile specified P&O Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and format for reporting.
Communicate learning needs to appropriate specialist unit and deliver trainings to dedicated client groups.
Support personnel cost planning, performing periodic cost and productivity analyses.
Support the budget planning discussions.
Supervise the performance and development of a small team.
Participate or lead P&O Projects at country or BU level.
Establishing strong relationship with internal clients to understand needs and change requirements and provide strategic and tactic workforce planning, in order to contribute to the development of the CPO / Cluster’s annual plan.
Develop programs and policies aligned with functional heads to internal clients, by applying organizational diagnostics expertise, analysing and identifying potential design improvements as well as developing strategy, processes and standards for all associates, in order to implement the Unit's business plan in the form of P&O strategy.
Support Senior Business leaders (functional and country) across areas under responsibility by translating the internal client's business plan into P&O strategic and operational plan, monitoring compliance and initiative corrective measures in case of deviations as well as providing change management support to transformation and restructuring, in order to contribute the achievement of the internal clients' objectives.
Implementing and adapting regional remuneration and/or benefits strategy in CPO / Cluster, selecting and managing effective compensation benefit programs and processes for employee hiring, retention and motivation, in order to contribute to the development of a country/cluster remuneration and/or benefits strategy.
Build, maintain and monitor management and employee understanding and appreciation of the value of compensation and benefits programs through effective promotion and communications and coaching of senior management on the overall value of C&B programs based on total and the components of Novartis EVP, in order to ensure employee satisfaction in what concerns compensation and benefits.
