Plant Operator (FTC) at Tshipi E Ntle Manganese Mining

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Carries out plant operations to ensure optimum ore recovery according to mine production targets, business objectives, and customer requirements. Ensures good housekeeping within the plant operation.

• Follows plant standard operating procedures to prevent losses and damages.

Carries out the ore processing function

• Processes ore in a safe and effective manner to meet shift production targets.
• Adheres to plant policies and procedures and follows supervisor instruction
• Escalates issues and problems where necessary to ensure:
• Plant safety.
• Plant cleanliness.
• Product conformance.
• Prevention of loss or damage to equipment and machinery.
• Operates plant equipment and machinery safely and responsibly according to standard operating procedures.
• Ensures good housekeeping, cleanliness, and hygiene within the plant.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Driver’s license (preferential)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Ore processing experience is (preferential).
• Related knowledge and training in plant, conveyors, and other.
• Willing to work shifts – 24/7
• Related experience in crushing, conveying, and material handling.
