Post Production Coordinator at MultiChoice

Purpose of the Position:

• To handle and coordinate all bookings and work orders for resources and facility bookings for edit facilities in edit suites, final mix suites, and graphic suites.

Updating of Work orders

• Ensure Sober is up to date and always 7 days in advance.
• Liaise with Programming regarding specific Edits
• Document file movement on Multichoice online systems
• Ensure Auxiliary Platform schedule is up to date and slugs reflect on Editors work order.
• Producer bookings
• Slug Generation and implementation on work orders.

Editor Work Schedule co – Ordinator

• Communicate Shift Rosters and schedule changes to Editors
• Leave Management for Editors
• Long and short-term scheduling of resources
• Facility coordination
• General Admin
• Attend weekly satellite meetings for updates

Change Implementation

• Implement schedule changes on a day to day basis
• Weekly call outs ensuring that Sober reflects what is on Synergy.
• Client Liaison
• Fault Reporting

Qualifications

Essential

• A Grade 12 Certificate

Preferred

•  Diploma in Project Management would be advantageous

Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years in a project coordination role or similar
• Excellent Sports Knowledge
• Excellent working knowledge of Sober
• Sound knowledge of Esched and Synergy
• Computer Literate
