PR Account Executive at TBWA\ South Africa

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with client
• Manage more than 1 client in line with overall strategy
• Day-to-day activity relating to the account
• Keeping media lists up to date / compiling distribution lists, media liaison and pitching stories
• Excellence in writing and editing materials including client press releases, articles, correspondence and reports
• Assist senior management with new business development
• Co-ordination of client meetings
• Ongoing update of status reports and assisting with generation of call reports
• Compilation of daily reports (feedback reports, campaign reports)
• Demonstrate excellence in administration and budgeting
• Ongoing management and negotiation of supplier costs

Requirements

• The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in PR/communications or business, and ideally two to three years’ agency experience in a similar role.
• They must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, juggling various tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
