Grade 12 or equivalent Technical Qualification (minimum NQF Level 4) in the Civil or Construction related discipline
A National Diploma/degree in the Civil or Construction will be advantageous
Up to 6-7 years proven Facilities Management experience in Public Transport maintenance, cleaning, and security procedures and processes environment
Staff Supervisory experience
Computer literacy (MS Office & SAP)
Valid Code B driver’s licence
Key Performance Areas
To coordinate the processes involved in the outsourced contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLA's) relating to IRT Operations
Facilitate the administering, coordinating and ensuring compliance of with the outsourced Station Management Contracts relating to Station Operations, Station parking, horticulture, maintenance and cleaning of stations, stops, bus lanes and associated cycle lanes, lighting, signage and markings display of passenger information
Facilitating the processes of analysing data and trends, measuring key performance indicators and updating the Service Charter
Facilitating the identification, evaluation and assessment of risks and providing input into the Branch Risk Management plan
Applies a body of professional knowledge coupled with experience to develop and implement a full range of programs, systems, policies and practices in relation to professional discipline within a Department/Branch to affect service delivery to clients
Drawing up of correspondence of a more complex and involved nature to facilitate the functioning of the Department/Branch
