    Process Engineer Bodyshop

    Role Summary

    • Maintain all Process Activities Within The Bodyshop Environment, Pertaining To Vehicle Quality, Dimensional Integrity, and Implementing (Implemented) Processes.

    Position Details

    • Maintain and Create Model Area related Process Sheets in GSPAS.
    • Responsible for Engineering Changes of related processes.
    • Maintain Model area related Control plan of Processes.
    • Responsible for Process Capability of related processes. (Cp & CpK incl. SPC charts)
    • Ability to read and analyze WBDM data while making concise decisions based on data.
    • Responsible for Process Equipment of related processes & area.
    • Maintain Process Audits of processes.
    • Responsible for Facility planning of related processes & area for changes.
    • Responsible for Project management of related equipment and facilities for major changes.
    • PFMEA update implementation
    • VRT participation.
    • FCPA participation.
    • Process confirmation and validation confirmation
    • Responsible for Process Technicians on your shift
    • Maintain ISO 9000 / ISO 14000 standards.
    • EQN processing within 5 days
    • VUV processing within 5 days
    • Leading MTC process for Body Construction
    • Support NWG's of area.
    • Support SQDCPME objectives.
    • Improve Part delivery quality from the supplier based on control points needed from the production side to be controlled by the supplier
    • Ensure fixture integrity is 100% to standard

    Performance Measures

    • Achieve 100% Cp and Cpk targets In Respective Area.
    • Ensure 100% Fixture/Sealer Integrity Green Status

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Read Engineering Drawings
    • Interpret Technical Dimensional Drawings And Make Concise Decisions To Facilitate Improvement.

    Qualifications

    • National Diploma/Degree - Mechanical Engineering
    • 3-4 years Automotive industry
    • 3-4 Body Shop / Process Engineering Experience
    • Resistive Spot Welding Experience (Advantageous)
