Process Laboratory Analyst

Job Description
- Conduct routine sampling and analysis of the in-process and final products as well as Boiler and cooling tower analysis.
- Control, monitor and make process adjustments based on the laboratory analysis and process variables using SCADA
- Assist Chemical Process operators in starting and operating the plant and shutting down the Sulphonation plant in accordance with work instruction.
- Accurately communicate process conditions to Shift Supervisor, Senior Plant Operators, Laboratory personnel Housekeeping in the various sections of the laboratory.
- Write up records timeously according to the plant Work Instructions.
- Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12
- Chemical Operations NQF level 2
