Processs & System Manager - Western Cape at Woolworths

KEY OUTCOMES

Identify new & enhance existing business processes & related systems

• Design and create innovative, fit for purpose and future fit business processes to transform the business to achieve its objectives and improve profitability
• Take ownership for the design, evaluation, redesign and completion of end to end store business processes on the system
• Verify, validate and approve business and system readiness for implementation
• Take accountability for and monitor existing and new business processes and related systems to ensure they are efficient and effective
• Develop new business measures and validate existing business measures to ensure that they are still relevant and compliant

Manage change effectively as the business environment changes

• Ensure the change impacts are identified, planned for and resourced appropriately
• Validate existing business measures to ensure whether they are still relevant for the required change
• continuous Improvement: Redesign existing business measures to ensure that they are fit for purpose

Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders

• Identifying opportunities for collaboration within the team, the organisation and external service providers
• Vendor relationship owner: management and integration
• Supporting and enabling relevant business initiatives & projects

Proactively conceptualise and develop the relevant business and systems processes to ensure business continuity 

Build and manage a motivated and skilled team

• Develop a sustainable team capability / pipeline

Create, manage and provide input into the budgeting process

• Conduct cost benefit analyses
• Inform decision making
• Business case compilation

Provide input into related training content

• brief the relevant stakeholders on any process & systems changes that impact training material
• review training content & support training where required

Process & system support

• Provide support on all business processes escalated by stores/IT
• Process support for business owners publishing
• Assist stores with addressing changes to ways of working/process

Gatekeeper & Quality Assurance

• Implement and manage the publishing of content to stores in alignment with stores calendars

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant Diploma / Degree (advantageous)
• 3-5 Years Relevant Experience
• Advanced PC literacy

• IT Systems 

ADDITIONAL CRITERIA

• Able to travel (Local & International/Africa)
