Develop a procurement and logistics strategy for Wind considering REIPPP economic development obligations with regards to local content, preferential procurement and job creation.
Manage the entire procurement and logistics process, including the development of general terms and conditions, employer requirements and/or specifications, draft and prepare request for proposals, bid evaluation, bid award and implementation.
Lead and or manage contract negotiations in collaboration with various internal teams and drive agreements through to contract execution, working closely with the Contract Management team.
Provide operational support to multi-stakeholder divisions and build an end-to-end business delivery system to enable seamless communication and sustainable growth of business.
Create a cost and supplier database, as well as ensure it is properly kept up to date.
Develop comprehensive supply chain and cost intelligence on Wind, not only on suppliers, but also on competitors and customer models including, but not limited to, new product developments, costs and trends, market growth projections, and market forces, collecting information from different sources, providing insights to Mulilo’s engineering and business development teams.
Develop a forward costing strategy to assist in cost prediction, reduction, supply chain strategies and business decisions, in coordination with the rest of the Procurement Department.
Continue the development and implementation of best practice and adequate procurement processes and procedures within the Procurement Department.
Perform vendor screening – KYC/vendor due diligence (ESG compliance, etc.).
Acting as proposal manager from time to time, you will be the single point of contact during all phases of the project from project development throughout the execution phase.
Regular interaction and reporting to internal stakeholders on performance metrics and procurement strategy.
Be the Procurement Department representative in the PMO (Project Management Office) during development and implementation.
