Product Owner: Portals at Clickatell

Purpose

• We are seeking a pacesetting Product Owner to join our Product management team. With guidance from the Snr Product manager the Product Owner will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and communicating product requirements to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies. The role will specifically focus on delivering features and functions on our common services platform. This role will also have a collaborative partner from the Clickatell portals team (Back end).

Responsibilities of the Role

• With input from the Snr Product Manager and other stakeholders define and prioritize product features and requirements based on customer feedback, business objectives, and market trends
• Create and maintain a product backlog that effectively communicates the development team's priorities and ensures timely delivery of features
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization
• Work with development teams to ensure clear understanding of product requirements and ensure successful delivery of product features
• Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and communicate product updates to relevant stakeholders
• Own the design of product requirements and subsequent successful delivery of the requirements.
• Design and create process documentation required to help collaboration in our expanding organization.

Requirements of the Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or Business degree / diploma (BBA, MBA, Business Analysis certification)

Work experience:

• 3+ years’ as Business Analyst or Solutions Architect in an Agile environment
• 3+ years’ building software products
• Working in Communication platform as a Service is preferred (CPaaS)
• Working with Agile Methodology, SDLC and Sprints
• Building and managing a product roadmap
