    Purpose

    • We are seeking a pacesetting Product Owner to join our Product management team.     • Develop, test and track performance of new and innovative pricing initiatives to generate a competitive advantage.

    Develop Product Pricing Framework, Tools & Processes

    • Develop pricing processes to continuously monitor, evaluate, and enhance current decision-making and to ensure timely response to market conditions and competitive factors.
    • Build dynamic pricing tools and pricing intelligence that can process and incorporate big datasets and a large number of inputs from external/syndicated and internal data warehouses.
    • Enforce adherence to pricing frameworks and processes in a controlled, centralized manner for the Clickatell Products organization.

    • Lead quarterly pricing reviews. Prepare and present recommendations to leadership for updates to current pricing and identifying and evaluating opportunities to drive revenue and profit.

    • Work closely with Analysts and Sales on day-to-day pricing activities across all product categories – including execution of all pricing changes down to the category level.

    About this role: 

    • We are looking for a highflying Data Engineer to join our cross-functional data team to support the design, build and testing of high-performance, scalable and multi-event level data solutions. Reporting to the Director: Data, this role works with structured, semi structured and unstructured data and serves as a critical role in strengthening our analytical presence in the Chat Commerce market.

    Responsibilities of the Role:

    • Work in a team that is passionate about enabling a data culture throughout the organization
    • Design and develop scalable and robust pipelines for data consumption by downstream applications in support of advanced analytics, AI/ML products, and system interoperability
    • Identify opportunities for improvement of existing ETL processes to enhance data integrity and accuracy
    • Deliver a high degree of data availability, consistency, and accuracy for our current production systems and analytics environments
    • Actively participate in solution design and modelling to ensure data products are developed according to best practices, standards, and architectural principles

    Core Requirements of the Role:

    • B-Tech or bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or informatics (essential)
    • Formal training business intelligence, data architecture or design (preferred)
    • 3+ years of production data engineering experience
    • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Python
    • 2+ years of experience working in cloud environments ( AWS , Azure, GCP)

    Senior Software Developer (Java)

    Purpose

    • We are looking for a Pacesetting Senior Software Developer tjoin our team. This role is required tutilise knowledge of Java and React tdevelop and maintain Chat Commerce features on our high performance (low latency, high transaction volumes) applications. Joining our existing agile teams of developers, you will assist in expanding our capacity, allowing us tbuild the features that will enable our clients tseamlessly transact and engage with their customers on a global scale, using channels such as WhatsApp, Apple Business Chat, and SMS, with new channels coming soon. This role reports tthe Software Development manager.

    • Work with an awesome geographically distributed team of engineers, product managers and designers timplement the next generation of products and/or features

    Work independently and with the team tfocus on:

    • projects that involve developing applications from scratch
    • building applications that can scale (millions of transactions/requests per day)
    • developing software iteratively and deliver working code each iteration
    • implementing, debugging, and testing of new product features, or enhancements on existing features, or assisting customers and vendors with implementing and troubleshooting end-to-end solutions
    • test-driven development using unit and integration tests in an agile environment
    • sustaining features once delivered intproduction
    • authoring relevant documentation and test cases
    • providing scheduled standby/on-call support of production software
    • Take lead in discussions of architecture, design recommendations and implementations
    • Coach and mentor software developers and other roles within the team timprove knowledge, skill and capability

    Requirements of the Role

    • Computer Science degree or equivalent diploma (or 8+ years relevant experience)

    Work Experience

    • 5+ years’ experience in a Software Engineering role
    • Full Stack development (preferred)
    • Experience working in a high-volume communication, payment transaction environment, or mobile technology platforms and systems integration would be advantageous.
    • HTML 5, CSS 3 and Typescript experience required

    Knowledge and Abilities

    • At least Java 11 or newer with Spring Boot 2 or newer and Spring Framework experience required
    • Ability tdemonstrate a sustained track record of delivering high-quality outputs, on-time and tproduct or business specifications
    • Use of JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS and Angular 7 or newer
    • Knowledge of RxJS(Advantageous)
    • Knowledge of IntelliJ and Visual StudiCode IDEs (Advantageous)
    • Package management tools such as NPM
    • Ability tdevelop and troubleshoot both front-end and backend components
    • Databases SQL language and scripting (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
    • Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Continuous Delivery
    • Familiarity with Version Control systems such as git (GitLab)
    • Containerization (Docker / other), Kubernetes or other container orchestration frameworks, advantageous
    • AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud-based infrastructures & services (Advantageous)
    • Knowledge of Linux or a recognized Unix platform (Advantageous)
    • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and embracing of their values and principles.
