PRODUCTION / PROJECT MANAGER
Woodstock
The role will involve managing a small CMT and overseeing the production of homeware textiles!!
Requirements which need to be met:
Matric
Solid experience in project management
Knowledge of CMT Manufacturing and textile weaving – very advantageous
Experience in pattern making and product development – bonus!
Good business acumen with the ability to manage and ensure production runs to schedule!!
Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal
Drivers license and own transport
Some duties and responsibilities:
Daily / Weekly / Monthly planning of CMT production
Assign work to CMT and organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
Keep track of all CMT work in progress and communicate the status of orders with the team.
Monitor CMT production to resolve issues and ensure quality control.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of CMT production personnel to ensure productivity.
Work with management to assess CMT production methods and workflow to find areas of improvement.
Ensuring tidiness of the CMT room
Report to management on attendees, absenteeism, production progress, obstacles, and delays.
Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives ad understand requirements relating to production management.
