Professional Officer - Disposal at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• A relevant B tech or First Degree in Property Studies, Legal, Town Planning or Real Estate
• Minimum 3 Year relevant experience in Property management/property transactions/property development environment
• Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Code B drivers licence

Key Performance Areas

• Assisting management to prioritise land sales for disposal in order to effectively dispose of City –owned immovable properties
• Conduct initiation and Preliminary investigations in respect of properties proposed for sale or lease
• Coordinate the tender/auction processes in accordance with relevant applicable legislation and policies.
• Coordinate the tender/auction processes in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and operating procedures.
• Management and implementation of sale and/or lease transaction in respect of properties alienated trasterred and development.
• Provide property advice and administration to stakeholders for immovable property disposals in the City.
• Departmental communication and preparing reports
