Provides comprehensive Professional HR advice and support to Department management in execution of HR/OD action plans in Departments.
Guiding, advising and communicating the understanding of HR policies and procedures to Line Managers.
Monitoring compliance to Labour legislation and assisting
Departments with the management of IR matters (including Incapacities) in conjunction with Corporate Employee Relations Department.
Providing guidance and advice on staffing strategy needs within the Directorate.
Guiding and advising line on the Performance Management process.
Coordinating all T & D matters in conjunction with Corporate Training & Development.
Providing guidance, advice and ensuring compliance on matters related to advancement and job evaluation.
Guiding and advising on OHS matters within the Directorate.
Coordinating various HR transversal initiatives within the Directorate (e.g. rewards and recognition; culture audits; change management; business improvements, etc.).
Maintaining HR data (staff movement, IR activities, headcounts, absenteeism, EAP referrals, and other ad hoc reports required and metrics for reporting).
