    Project Management Unit (PMU): Technician

    • ANNUAL SALARY: R601 869. 48 (EXCLUDING BENEFITS)

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12. BEng or BSc Civil Engineering Degree/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
    • Registration with a professional Engineering body will be an added advantage.
    • Valid Code EB Driver's licence. 03 - 05 years relevant experience. Computer literacy: MS Office.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinates and implements projects and programs of Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG) funded interventions and municipal own funding. Monitoring, evaluating, and communicating project deliverables on site.
    • Attending to constraints and actions necessary to ensure that projects are completed on time for handover. Controls the professional, technical, and operational outcomes associated with projects. Coordinates specific administrative and reporting requirements associated with information management of the projects. Controls labour intensive projects in line with the EPWP laid down procedures.
