JOB SUMMARY
Operational
Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.
Conducting traceability and GMP Audits
Maintain and update TACCP and VACCP programs.
Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
Documenting and follow up of QEWO and assuring robust corrective action are implemented.
Ensure final product quality and safety standard are adhered to.
Resolved customer complaints & product returns.
Creating training materials and operating manual and train staff
Manage RIP (Relevant Interested Parties) i.e Pest control.
Ensuring NCRs are raised and monitor feedback/ compliance from supplier.
Verification of all lab and factory equipment’s are calibrated as per calibration schedule.
Audit Planning and Execution
Host annual and quarterly external audits i.e FSSC 22000, HALAAL, State Vet.
Recommend the most appropriate controls (where non-existent), aligned to organizational policies and procedures.
Preparing a risk based internal audit plan on an annual basis.
Conduct audits in accordance with the Annual plan.
Conduct audit testing of specified processes to test the adequacy of the design and operational effectiveness of controls.
Compile findings, root causes, potential effects, recommendations, and line mangers commitment (what, when, how) for consideration by the Site Quality Lead.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions are issued, implemented, verified and closed within set timeframes.
Drive implementation and maintenance of HACCP
Manage QMS, technical documentation and ensure proper retention of records and documents.
Create, update, and/or review QMS related documents, in collaboration with process owners.
Produce various reports and statistics required by the regulatory authorities and communicate safety notifications to clients.
Work on special projects with regards to organization’s orientations (reports, statistics, research, etc.).
Manage food safety team and conduct food safety meeting.
Conduct QMR (Quality Management Review) meetings.
Coordinating of Management of Change.
Administrative
Interact with QC technicians ensuring that information regarding non-conformance is logged and addressed.
Interact with production in the communications of quality problems identified in the packing process.
Run all consumer and customer complaint investigations and generates reports for feedback.
