Quality Controller X2 Gazelle Sasolburg at Bureau Veritas Group

• To carry out field inspections efficiently and timeously, thereby ensuring the provision of Quality service to client
• To ensure Operational Services rendered are followed through efficiently from appointment to completion of job.
• To ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System, HSE Management System, operating procedures, international/national standards and client requirements.

Operations

To ensure that all inspections, sealing and field operations are carried out in the Sasolburg according to standards and requirements of appointment / contract conditions and client requirements by:

• Executing the jobs through the assessment of job requirements and the utilization of appropriate resources.
• Communicating with team leader / supervisor on the progress of jobs and answering queries.
• Reporting potential sensitive operational problems / situations immediately to line managers / supervisors.
• Assist and provide information when disputes and discrepancies relating to job assignments are investigated.
• Completing all field documentation ensuring work is neat, legible and accurate.
• Ensuring that systems, procedures and standards are adhered to at all times to support the rendition of services of services to clients within the company’s expectations and any relevant legislative requirements.

In order that the inspection, sealing and field operation functions conform to appointment conditions and standards, quality and legal prescriptions.

Inspection (Surveying)

• To conduct inspections and field operations according to appointment conditions and quality management system standards.
• To attend to each job with the aim of eliminating / limiting delays and to ensure quantity losses and / or quality deterioration are eliminated.
• To conduct field operations related activities in line with international/national standards e.g. MPMS, client instructions.
• Activities is included the following:
• Verification of seals - hatches  / handrails /  valves / control box
• Jobs Observations check list
• Sealing check list
• To ensure good housekeeping of the office at all times.
• To ensure the safety of oneself, others and the surroundings by following the environmental, health and safety policies and regulations.
