JOB SUMMARY

• Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to ensure the quality of products and procedures through comprehensive inspections, implementation of quality control measures, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and enhancing production efficiency through internal audits and quality checks.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, including but not limited to:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 auditing requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Updating the Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements
• Conducting internal audits based on ISO 9001:2015 requirements
• Monitoring the production cycle and performing time & motion studies to identify areas for improvement
• Preparing reports on malfunctions and corrective actions
• Coordinating with external auditors to ensure legal compliance, including classification societies
• Testing yarn and rope for quality, using test beds and other equipment
• Undertaking KAIZEN Activities as directed
• Setting and tracking quality assurance goals to improve customer satisfaction
• Ensuring compliance with housekeeping standards and overseeing internal audits
