    Readvertisement Service Section Manager Level 2 Field Service Global Grade 12

    Key Outputs

    • Effective control of Work-in-Progress
    • Relationship building with external and internal customers.
    • Proactively liaise with Principal to resolve problems and issues and build relationships going forward.
    • Hold monthly meetings with key customers to discuss issues and problems and ensure good relationship.
    • Ensure all problems are dealt with as quickly as possible.
    • Open relationship conductive to collaborative problem solving.
    • Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability (includes management of HR value chain)
    • Performance management of team
    • Competency development of team
    • Achievement of team financial targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
    • Effective control of team expenses
    • Effective control of Work-in-Progress
    • Ensure section outputs comply with OEM standards
    • Apply Barloworld-Equipment leadership philosophy
    • Apply Warranty policies and procedures including warranty decisions and Service Warranty investigations.
    • Ensure outputs of Service Audits are achieved
    • Reporting of team KPI’s and prospects
    • Ensure effective self-management and performance ownership
    • Maintain all levels of standards and procedures as per ISO 9001: 2015 and contamination control standards

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    • Qualified Artisan or Applicable Engineering Diploma / Degree or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic.
    • Minimum 3 Years management experience in customer interface.
    • Good knowledge of Earthmoving Equipment and relevant industry.
    • Good communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills.
    • Effective negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently, under pressure and meeting deadlines.
    • Willing to travel as and when required.
    • Show initiative by thinking creatively.
    • High level of computer literacy (including relevant SAP & CRM);
    • Experience in managing warranty process, Financial for non-financial managers.
    • Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes.
    • People management skills and experience.
    • Sound business communication skills (negotiation, Presentation, etc.)
    • Strong technical background from a mechanical engineering perspective.
