Reception Manager at Adcorp Holdings Limited

Role Summary:

The Reception Manager is responsible for the overall management of the reception area and reception staff.He/She will also be responsible for admissions and discharge of patients in a professional, friendly and timeous manner as well as creating and maintaining goodwill with doctors and liaison with nursing staff regarding bed bookings.

• Ensure employees admit patients in a professional, orderly manner
• Ensure employees collect deposits and surcharges where applicable
• Checking admission forms to ensure that they are correct
• Liaise with doctors regarding Theatre List and diagnosis
• Liaise with nursing employees regarding bed bookings
• Ensure employees discharge patients in a professional, orderly manner
• Ensure employees collect outstanding monies due by private patients and co-payments from medical aid patients
• Ensure correct procedures are adhered to on all systems
• Implementation, monitoring and maintenance of all reception systems and control

Essential Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
• Qualification in Administration preferable
• 3-5 Years’ Managerial experience within a Hospital Reception environment
• Working knowledge of SAP ISH is neccessary
• Extensive knowledge of Medical Aids
