Records Administrator - Rietvlei at Rand Water

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12/ Matric
• 3 Years experience in Records Management /Registry Environment
• Intermedite Records and Archival Management Certificate with accredited institution 

Primary Duties

• Implementing records/ document management policies and procedures
• Managing mail
• Maintaining Records control systems
• Storing and automating documentation
• Maintaining information services centre of excellence
• Managing the dissemination of information within Rand Water
• Maintaining office equipment within the Section
• Controlling the movement of files
• Dissemination of information within Rand Water
• Providing a customer oriented service

Knowledge

• Records management procedures
• Basic understanding of the National Archives and Records Service Act
• Basic understanding of labour legislation,
• Understanding of Electronic Documentation Management Systems,
• Sound Registry/Document Management
• Sound understanding of capture/file/store/retrieve documents according to File Plan.
• Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000
• ISO: 9001
