    Recruitment Manager

    Job Description

    Accountable for assisting the Operations Executive to implement and manage operational best practice including client relationship management. Responsible for ensuring that the Portfolio meets the required budget and assists the Operations Executive in ensuring that operational and account activities are aligned to the Company's strategy and values. Manages the efficiency and effectiveness tactics, service quality, and cost efficiencies and looks to innovate ways of operating within the business.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    PROCESS

    • Stays abreast of market and/or industry trends and conducts comparative analyses of the strengths and weaknesses of competitive offerings to identify market opportunities and gaps

    • Responsible for activities that influence new business and/or organic growth from existing clients

    • Identifies opportunities to position Perm Business services

    • Performs an operational support role for the business by ensuring collaboration and pro-active communication between Marketing, Sales, and Operations

    • Generates a shared understanding and commitment by translating the corporate vision and values into a clear work context and day to day activities for the team and by setting specific, measurable goals and objectives

    • Encourages collaboration between brands within the Adcorp group

    • Understands the primary cause and effect interdependencies between workflows, processes, and systems to improve work performance

    • Applies a practical understanding of standard workflow and process management tools and practices to map, examine, analyze, and re-engineer routine business processes for incremental improvements to workflow and operational controls

    • Ensures an effective and efficient recruitment process is being adhered to by all staff.

    • Ensures that there is a shared understanding of the requirements and that turnaround times and deadlines are adhered to in line with the service level agreement

    • Manages a Team to Source candidates through a variety of mechanisms, including but not limited to:
      o The candidate database
      o Adverts
      o Networking
      o Job boards (i.e. PNet, Career Junction, Gumtree, and Indeed)
      o Social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

    CUSTOMER

    • Understands and stays close to the staffing needs and contracting requirements of clients to ensure that the offered solutions are client-specific and adhere to the applicable requirements as detailed in the account plan, service level agreement and CAP action plan

    • Engages the client pro-actively, responds to client queries and concerns promptly, and ensures that opportunities for improvements to the client experience are actioned and measured

    • Implements the client value proposition framework and supports the implementation of appropriate client engagement tactics

    • Analyses client feedback to identify, evaluate and anticipate client satisfaction levels and concerns

    • Manages the development of loyal client relationships by implementing and improving operational tactics that recognize client life cycle, loyalty, and retention

    • Ensures that the branch provides an efficient and professional talent acquisition service to clients and candidates including matching and placing candidates with relevant skills, inherent job requirements, and experience in accordance with client requirements

    FINANCE

    • Prepares financial spreadsheets and information systems for financial reporting, forecasting and decision-making

    • Assists Operations Executive with projects within budget constraints by implementing and monitoring financial controls

    • Conducts cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit, and cost-utility analyses, with reference to pipeline delivery and client requirements

    • Implements sales strategy in conjunction with the Portfolio Sales Consultant to ensure business growth

    • Ensures that monthly portfolio targets/budgets are achieved

    • Ensures that average debtors days are less than 30 days and actively manages debtors days

    • Ensures the overall budget for the portfolio is achieved

    PEOPLE

    • Anticipates peaks and valleys and plans staffing capacity accordingly. Leverages available resources to complete work effectively.

    • Takes positive action to resolve conflict in a way that addresses issues, dissipates the conflict and maintains collaborative relationships

    • Encourages good performance by establishing clear links between performance measures and business objectives and provides timely and constructive performance feedback, support and guidance to enable the achievement of individual requirements

    • Retains staff through active engagement tactics (i.e. induction, staff-learning opportunities, one-on-one discussions, follow up discussions when employees return from an absence, talent discussions and client engagement)

    • Implements techniques to track performance and to mitigate assignee attrition. This would include an analysis of training fall-off, recruitment issues, payroll errors, high absenteeism, performance issues, morale issues, attrition, exit interview and tenure

    • Addresses poor performance by taking corrective action and/or by following poor performance management procedures

    • Encourages learning by freely sharing information and best practices with others and by actively striving to empower staff through constant up-skilling and enablement

    • Coaches and mentors others by providing instruction, positive models and opportunities to observe

    Qualifications

    • B Degree in Business 

    • A minimum of 5 - 8 years relevant experience

    • Proven ability to drive sales and generate new business

    • Proven ability to drive the team to ensure budget and targets are met

    • Own vehicle and valid drivers’ licence
