Short description of position: The Recruitment Officer is responsible for providing proactive recruitment, selection and placement services to the company in line with Code of Good practice, Employment Equity Act and the company’s recruitment policy.
What We’re Looking for:
Manage a proactive recruitment service to ensure vacancies are filled promptly with appropriately skilled staff.
Manage the employment contracting, enrolment and on-boarding process for new employees.
Communicate and provide feedback to internal and external candidates and line management where required.
Act as a coach to line managers involved in recruitment, ensuring that recruitment practice aligned with best practice is maintained within the organisation.
Ensure that recruitment is conducted in the line with company policies and procedures and in line with the legislative requirements i.e. Employment Equity Act, Code of Good Practice and the LRA.
Drive both internal and external recruitment processes.
Market Rewardsco as an employer of choice.
Manage the Recruitment Database and Reporting process.
Analyse trends and propose alternative recruitment sources.
What You Need:
Matric
Related HR / Recruitment qualification advantageous
Minimum 2 to 3 years prior Recruitment experience within a BPO environment
Must have experience working on bulk recruitment and specialist roles
Proven track record of delivering high calibre candidates to the organisation within required timelines
Must be proficient in MS Office – specifically Excel
General knowledge of the LRA and BCEA and its impact on recruitment
Knowledge of Lexis Nexis Refcheck / MIE System required
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems is an added advantage
