    Remuneration And Compensation Specialist – REF: REMANDCOMSPECIALIST-JW384EX/2023

    PURPOSE

    • To conduct research and analysis in different areas involving compensation statistics and market analysis, conducting position evaluations/grading, job classifications, preparing job descriptions in compliance with regulations and labour law.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and maintain the Job Grading Committees Terms of Reference, render advice with regards to job evaluation, job profiling for Grading Committee, facilitate the development of job descriptions, implement, and manage an electronic database of grading requests.
    • Contribute towards the design of a compensation package based on business goals and strategy, create a consistent compensation guideline that matches the company’s work and organizational culture, ensure that compensation practices are following current laws and regulations.
    • Conduct salary and labour market research to define benchmarks, conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices underlying the rendering of renumeration services, conduct research in preparation of remuneration projects.
    • Serve as a point of contact between JW and the successful service provider company regarding job evaluation/grading, apply effective communication strategies to maintain a positive working relationship with various stakeholders throughout the remuneration industry.
    • Establish good relationships with internal and external stakeholders to build a wide and effective network of contacts, interact with representatives from consultant companies in the field of remuneration related matters, investigate internal queries relating to salary issues and provide timeous feedback.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Essential qualifications and experience:

    • National Diploma in HR.
    • 3 years’ experience in HR, Remuneration and Job evaluation/Grading.
    • Experience in SAP HR and MS Office packages.
