    Research Manager, BASES

    Job Description
    ABOUT THIS JOB

    • Innovation matters. With best-in-class research and predictive analytical tools, NielsenIQ BASES remains essential to our clients’ development of new product ideas, product messaging that inspires action, fresh packaging designs, and optimal product launch strategies. In BASES, you will be responsible for client consulting from start to finish of all BASES projects, managing a team of analysts, reviewing all data analysis-related work, and conducting client de-briefs along with overall account management responsibilities for key clients.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Client Engagement:

    • Overall account management including client pitching, debriefs, and request handling
    • Responsible for on-time report delivery at required quality standards across BASES solutions
    • Drives success at all levels of the sales cycle – prospecting, relationship building, consultative selling, presenting, and closing.

    Operational Excellence:

    • Manage technical analyst team for SSA including all senior reviews for client reports, data analysis, and volume forecasting
    • Provide a deeper understanding of other departments and NielsenIQ solutions

    QUALIFICATION

    Minimum Qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as, but not limited to:

    • Data Analysis
    • Maths
    • Psychology
    • Statistics
    • At least 4 Years work experience / Industry experience
    • FMCG
    • Manufacturing
    • Retailer
    • Market Research
    • Banking
    • Telecom
    • Other diverse industries (e.g. academia, consulting)

    Technical skills

    • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
    • Google Office & Products
    • Social Media
    • Language requirements
    • English
