    Risk Specialist - Sandton

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lean Control Methodology:

    • Understand the Lean Control (LC) methodology and communicate its benefits to stakeholders.
    • Interlock with Group Change and Risk teams to introduce new ways of work.

    Policy and Standards:

    • Complete and communicate policies and standards related to the LC initiative.
    • Collaborate with Group Change and SDLC policies and standards as necessary.

    Technology Change Management:

    • Partner with Service Delivery Management to ensure effective technology change delivery.
    • Set up and embed all aspects of LC, including documentation, risk stories, Safety Teams, tooling, and team management.

    Release Gate Compliance:

    • Implement regular reporting of Release gate compliance.
    • Design and embed breach processes.

    Change Risk Management:

    • Act as an SME owning the Change Risk role.
    • Opine on and manage the Technology Change risk profile.

    Root Cause Analysis:

    • Perform Root Cause analysis on Risk events or Major incidents.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay abreast of technology evolution in the portfolio, identifying relevant risks and controls.
    • Track and monitor timely remediation of observations raised by internal or external audit.

    Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Lead the Lean Control team, evolving the vision and strategic planning.
    • Develop and define the architecture vision for tooling, overseeing its implementation and integration.

    Community Engagement:

    • Lead the Lean Control Community of Practice.
    • Represent Lean Control at Group-level SteerCos and senior forums.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years managerial/leadership experience.
    • 4 years' experience in a risk and audit environment within a financial business environment.
    • NQF level 6 B Degree in Risk Management, Audit, or equivalent Advanced Diploma.
    • Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGERT, PMP, or any other IT Governance-related qualification.
