    Sales Account Executive

    Job Description    

    • Are you driven by success and passionate about achieving results? Join our team at Sage as a Sales Account Manager focusing on Sage HR & Payroll solutions in South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and partners while maximizing Sage's market share. Your main objective will be to define and drive revenue within the Sage HR & Payroll regional domain and achieve sales quotas for our suite of products.

    Key Responsibilities    

    • Meet Sage HR & Payroll sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis by executing the prescribed sales and marketing business development strategy.
    • Identify and maintain accounts to be targeted for New Customer Acquisition (NCA) in alignment with the sales strategy.
    • Manage partner opportunities from inception to completion, supporting business partners in executing sales and marketing activities.
    • Arrange and attend site visits to meet existing and potential customers, conducting comprehensive cost-benefit and needs analyses.
    • Manage the delivery of product demonstrations and advise on changes and trends in the marketplace and competitor activities.
    • Proactively manage each
    • qualified sales opportunity in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely updates on key information.
    • Demonstrate time management maturity by organizing and prioritizing daily and weekly goals.
    • Support and promote Sage through active participation on social media platforms like LinkedIn.

    Skills, Know-How, and Experience:

    • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (Financial, business, or IT related).
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in customer-facing sales.
    • Previous sales experience in HR and Payroll.
    • Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
    • Self-starter with a clear understanding of driving results.
    • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners and share knowledge.
    • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

    Technical/Professional Qualifications:

    • Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (Financial, business, or IT related).
    • Knowledge of Payroll and HR processes.
