    Sales Development Manager

    Primary Duties:

    • Enhance your team's capabilities in outbound prospecting, optimising inbound leads, qualifying prospects, scheduling meetings, and execution.
    • Track activity metrics and KPIs closely to improve team productivity and generate a stronger pipeline.
    • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship through weekly one-on-ones, joint calls, monthly target reviews, and tailored skills development plans.
    • Understand the company's product offerings and solutions, tailoring them to specific business sectors, roles, and customer needs.
    • Create and manage documentation processes, including briefing notes and meeting summaries, and ensure accurate CRM entries and process execution in Salesforce.
    • Consistently report on activity to Sales and Marketing teams, highlighting target prospects, significant interactions, and progress on scheduled and completed calls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Actively contribute to the growth and improvement of the SDR function, including activities, processes, and performance metrics.
    • Lead by example, handling both inbound qualified leads and generating outbound prospects to arrange initial meetings. Use this experience to mentor and train new SDR team members.
    • Launch targeted outreach campaigns to increase awareness of the company's solutions and value proposition.
    • Perform research to gather contact information and insights on target accounts, helping to understand their needs and requirements.
    • Engage in lead nurturing and qualification activities, utilising a contact database, established prospecting methods, and supporting materials.
    • Evaluate prospect needs against the company's offerings to secure qualified meetings via outbound outreach and by converting inbound leads.
    • Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Sales Account Managers to penetrate key accounts and uncover sales opportunities.
    • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition to various levels of contacts, including senior executives and C-level decision-makers.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • Driven and creative in reaching out to prospects and initiating conversations.
    • Persistent and adaptable, able to think quickly and handle challenges effectively.
    • Well-organised with a results-driven, self-motivated approach.
    • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • 2-3 years of experience leading a B2B Enterprise sales development, outbound prospecting, and/or inside sales team, ideally within the SaaS technology industry and across global markets.
    • Strong proficiency with Salesforce.com and solid experience with MS Office applications.
    • Skilled in using sales development tools like Apollo.io, Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot, and LinkedIn.
