    Sales Executive

    Description

    The chosen applicant will need to actively source and secure new global business within the allocated markets, and be able to achieve set divisional sales targets and effectively increase revenue for each allocated market.

    Responsibilities

    STRATEGY

    • Execute the Drifters’ sales strategy as part of the company business plan
    • Identify and communicate areas of opportunity to increase market penetration and entrench existing customers
    • Identify and follow through on new potential client strategy
    • Ensure Drifters’ sales projects and initiatives are sized and prioritized appropriately through planning
    • Keep abreast of changes in industry and adjust strategies accordingly

    CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

    • To ensure client expectations are met and the highest delivery of service is driven through the business
    • To assist with best price and product offering to client
    • Liaise with operations team and contracting team on client briefs
    • To continually look at creative ideas and review products which are offered to clients
    • Establish and maintain good relationships with Drifters’ clients in the allocated markets
    • To follow-up with clients and leads

    BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

    • Ensure all business units (incl. operations) are regularly informed about sales activities and achievements

    ADMINISTRATION

    • Full understanding and follow-through of all divisional procedures and policies
    • Submit timeous reports as requested and adhere to deadlines
    • Maintain complete confidentiality with all company intellectual capital
    • Prepare sales budgets, spend and manage

    SALES TARGETS

    • Source, identify and obtain new business
    • Generate leads from existing and new clientele within the allocated markets
    • Monitor client achievements and turnover figures versus past performance
    • To follow-up with clients on a continual basis with regards to current and future business
    • Collaborate on tenders, bid-proposals and presentations to secure new business
    • Present Drifters brand in a professional manner at all times and protect branding integrity

    DATABASE

    • Ensure the database is managed, updated and developed continuously

    TEAM WORK

    • Flexibility to assist colleagues out of normal office hours, when and if required
    • Travelling with a group or client may be required

    LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

    • Keep abreast of industry trends
    • Attend exhibitions, trade shows where necessary
    • Personal development on destinations and products
    • Actively source new products and creative ideas

    Qualifications and Expertise

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Excellent South African and Regional geographic knowledge
    • Strong logistical knowledge
    • Experience in selling services
    • Solid experience in increasing market penetration and acquisition of new clients
