Sales Manager - Corporate (South African National only) at Minor Hotels

Job Description

• Develop the Corporate Sales plan for all 6 Avani brand hotels and implement the approved strategy and plan.
•  You will set up, establish and drive the hotel’s financial performance and create results; by maximizing sales efforts with innovative marketing ideas;
•  You will develop rapport with key clients and feel comfortable taking risks by entering new markets.
•  Through your effective management, passion and enthusiasm, you will be able to successfully inspire and coach your team members and ensure marketing brand standards are fully respected
• To oversee the implementation of sales strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions, as well as monitoring competitors marketing and sales activities.
•  Establish and maintain relationships with Corporate trade partners and key strategic partners throughout all sales activities.
•  Manage and submit all RFP’s for MHA properties, conduct quarterly audits on all platforms to ensure information is accurate and update for all properties
•  Working closely with the Hotel's General Manager, Corporate Office and unit Sales Manager in driving corporate business and topline revenues to achieve monthly and yearly budgets..

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
•  Minimum 5-years’ experience in Sales Management role
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•  Flexibility to work long hours and ability to travel locally and internationally.
• Ability to develop plan, liaise and communicate effectively with clients and all stakeholders
• Ability to implement and manage all sales key responsibilities
