    Sales Manager (Microsoft team)

    We are looking for an adept sales professional with a flair for leadership and entrepreneurship skills who will develop and lead the Microsoft Sales Team. We are seeking an innovative individual to spearhead our Microsoft Sales Team, driving revenue while expanding our client portfolio. 

    The primary responsibilities of this pivotal role include cultivating new business avenues, fostering client relationships, and nurturing partnerships with suppliers. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in coaching and mentoring the team to achieve collective success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring that the following targets are met by the Sales team:
    • Office 365 customer acquisition and recurring revenue
    • MS Azure recurring revenue
    • Trend Micro recurring revenue
    • Service Level Agreement revenue
    • General sales revenue target

      Maintain client relations

    •   Systemise, automate and streamline all systems in the division
    •   Develop and enforce best practices to ensure operational efficiency
    •   Recommend cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality
    •   Follow up on open quotes according to internal procedure
    •   Develop new business programs to meet productivity and revenue goals
    •   Provide a first point of contact for new or important Clients
    •   Manage and distribute current Client workload
    •   Establish needs of new Clients accurately and assign appropriate staff member to new Client
    • based on their needs
    •   Follow up on new business opportunities and set up all necessary follow-up meetings
    •   Ensure all orders are processed and Clients are informed on ETAs
    •   Ensure RMAs are dealt with in a timeous manner
    •   Ensure previous days quotes are made
    •   Ensure that payments are processed and invoiced where necessary
    •   Ensure that CRM system is up to date
    •   Inform staff whether they are ahead of or behind target
    •   Check quality of work and ensure that staff keep to the deadlines determined by internal
    • procedure
    •   Determine staff targets based on revenue growth and motivational needs
    •   Assist in training staff where necessary
    •   Identify staff to be internally up skilled and trained
    •   Make and implement recommendations to speed up or assist quote turnaround times
    •   Review Sales procedures and implement recommendations in Department
    •   Implement procedure recommendations in Sales Department
    •   Review suppliers on a quarterly basis
    •   Share Client information with other members of team
    •   Consult necessary stakeholders regarding marketing, procedure and product changes
    •   Address inquiries from team members in a professional manner
    •   Deal with Clients with in a friendly, courteous and timeous manner
    •   Escalate issues and enquiries when necessary
    •   Ensure feedback is given to Clients timeously
    •   Deal and resolve business issues effectively and ensure all issues are closed
    •   Ensure projects are aligned to agreed upon requirements
    •   Implement and achieve departmental goals
    •   Plan and problem-solve to determine team goals
    •   Create and manage work schedules for all team members
    •   Ensure key metrics are delivered
    •   Set project budgets and deadlines
    •   Ensure projects are delivered to deadline(s)
    •   Assist with the hiring, interviewing and training processes
    •   Responsible for the management of the team
    •   Support the team, to ensure continued growth in team
    •   Forecast or predict the team's productivity
    •   Decision making responsibility for deploying people and resources to projects
    •   Ensure departmental plans and budgets are implemented and controlled
    •   Communicate progress, needs and updates to HOD
    •   Build and maintain a relationship with vendors and suppliers

    Requirements:

    •   2-3 years’ experience selling Microsoft Services.
    •   Experience managing a high performing sales team and sales targets, within an IT environment, or the personal qualities in order to grow into a management role.
    •   Able to hunt new customers and opportunities as well as train the team on doing the same
    •   Experience and strong ability to build relationships with customers and partners
    •   Proven ability to maintain and grow relationships with customers
    •   Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
    •   Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
    •   Strong decision-making skills
    •   Planning and budgeting experience

    Necessary Certifications to be completed:

    •   Complete (MICROSOFT/ AZURE) course within 2 months
