We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Supervisor to oversee scaffolding operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage scaffold teams on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating scaffold erection, inspections, dismantling activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling activities on-site.
Ensure all scaffolding work complies with safety regulations and company procedures.
Conduct daily scaffold inspections and complete inspection reports.
Coordinate scaffold teams and allocate daily tasks effectively.
Ensure proper use of scaffolding equipment and PPE.
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.
Liaise with site management, contractors, and clients regarding scaffold requirements.
Monitor productivity and ensure project deadlines are achieved.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings with scaffold teams.
Maintain accurate records of scaffold materials and site activities.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric.
Valid Scaffold Supervisor certification.
Minimum 3-5 years' scaffolding supervisory experience in industrial or construction environments.
Knowledge of scaffolding safety standards and regulations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage teams effectively.
