    Scaffold Supervisor

    Job Purpose

    • We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Supervisor to oversee scaffolding operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage scaffold teams on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating scaffold erection, inspections, dismantling activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling activities on-site.
    • Ensure all scaffolding work complies with safety regulations and company procedures.
    • Conduct daily scaffold inspections and complete inspection reports.
    • Coordinate scaffold teams and allocate daily tasks effectively.
    • Ensure proper use of scaffolding equipment and PPE.
    • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Liaise with site management, contractors, and clients regarding scaffold requirements.
    • Monitor productivity and ensure project deadlines are achieved.
    • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings with scaffold teams.
    • Maintain accurate records of scaffold materials and site activities.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 / Matric.
    • Valid Scaffold Supervisor certification.
    • Minimum 3-5 years' scaffolding supervisory experience in industrial or construction environments.
    • Knowledge of scaffolding safety standards and regulations.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage teams effectively.
    • Valid driver's license will be advantageous.
