Senior Gravure Printer - Labels Packaging at Novus Holdings Ltd

Introduction

• Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint a Senior Gravure Printer - Labels Packaging within the Press department. The successful incumbent will report to the Shift Leader.

Job description

• To check and report defects spotted during initial start of production cycles of both printing and Finishing.
• Analyse, coordinate, and organize Press Gravure operations and procedures to ensure the safe, efficient and timely delivery of all Press Gravure commitments. 
• Establish and maintain contingency plans in cases where machine/safety operations or deadlines may be in jeopardy.  
• Oversee the quality control, quality assurance and waste control functions.
• Ensure physical plant cleanliness is always maintained within the Press and warehouse area.
• Ensure inventory, consumable products and critical spare parts are always maintained at sufficient levels to prevent interruptions in production or services.
• Always ensure Press Gravure compliance with all company programs, policies and procedures.
• Assist assigned personnel in the completion of necessary work as needed.

Minimum requirements

• A trade qualification in Press Gravure
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience and expertise in a Press Gravure environment 
• At least 2 years’ experience in a same or similar role
