    Senior Human Resource Manager - JHB

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Socialise and embed the People & Culture strategy with relevant stakeholders, in support of Minopex’s business strategy.
    • Plan, Design, Coordinate, Implement, Monitor, Review and Report, HR operational plans to be executed at sites under scope and remit.
    • Lead, Manage, Develop and Support HR team delivery in areas under scope and remit.
    • Lead and drive consistent standards, processes and practices across areas of responsibility as far as practically possible.
    • Guide, Support and Lead the resolution of employee queries / challenges at source, as far as practically possible.
    • Coordinate and guide the facilitation of proactive workforce planning, headcount budgeting and forecasting per client contractual commitments.
    • Coordinate and run the annual Performance & Talent Management processes in areas under responsibility to deliver peak performance e.g. goal setting, mid-year and year-end, reviews, succession models, high-potential talent identification, critical roles assessment, etc.
    • Implementation and adherence to the Minopex Remuneration/Reward philosophy and practices.
    • Attract, develop and retain human capital resources as required.
    • Support line leaders to lead and drive employee engagement positioning the Company as a great place to work i.e. surveys, analysis, feedback, action planning and successfully implementing action plans. Implement and administer health and wellness plans in the areas of responsibility that are aligned to the Minopex Employee Wellness Framework to enhance employee wellbeing.
    • Collect and analyse HR data for monthly reporting to the site leadership teams and identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and or risk mitigation.
    • Interpret employee data to identify significant differences, relationships, and trends in data.
    • Collaborate with the HR Communities of Practice to improve delivery and efficiencies.
    • Manage Legal HR / IR matters affecting the business.
    • Drive and maintain sound functional relationships with union and community stakeholders to ensure continuity of operations.
    • Ensure that the IR Policy, Collective Labour Agreements and Industrial Relations structures comply with the business strategy and relevant legislation.
    • Support the wage negotiation process / substantive employee issues in areas under responsibility.
    • Provide guidance and support to Management on Disciplinary and Grievance processes.
    • Ensure alignment and compliance with all legislative requirements.
    • Ensure compliance to Group Code of Conduct, Ethics, Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption policies, etc.
    • Build relationships across the business value chain by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with external role players (client, government, business etc.) to influence decision making or interpretation in favour of the Minopex Group.
    • Support line leaders to handle and respond to changes in their business landscape in areas under responsibility.
    • Lead and drive effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • A tertiary qualification at postgraduate level in a relevant field (e.g. HR / Business or Management) is essential.

    Experience & Skills Requirements:

    • Minimum of 10 years operations experience, preferably in the mining industry
    • Minimum of 5 years experience at senior management level
    • Leading, managing, influencing Human Resources and Leadership teams
    • Talent, Succession and Performance management
    • Business acumen, Financial management, problem-solving
    • Competent to resolve IR / ER issues.
    • Development, implementation and maintenance of HR related Policies, Procedures, Systems and Standards
    • Risk, Governance and Compliance (mining industry advantageous)
    • Employee engagement, communication and interpersonal skills

    • Leading and implementing culture change.
    • Valid driver’s licence code B, EB or C1
    • Red Ticket / Medical Certificate of fitness
