    Senior Key Account Manager - Woolworths, Clicks

    Position Summary

Perfection is at the heart of what we do and our people are always looking for the next big idea to cement our status. We’re now looking for a Senior Category Account Manager in Bryanston.

    In this role you will be responsible for reporting to the Customer Business Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the business plan for the category within the Channel, through effective usage of trade spend under guidance from the Customer Business Manager.

    A Senior CAM:

    • To be accountable for the development and implementation of customer business plans.
    • Execute plans for assigned accounts that are aligned with the business objectives & customer strategies
    • Accountable for the development, presentation and negotiation of category reviews to ensure distribution and shelf management opportunities are maximised
    • To effective management and control of allocated trade funds and debtors
    • To work closely with the Category Sales Development team to ensure delivery of best practice POP initiatives
    • Assist with the SKU portfolio changes and range reviews based on customer and marketing requests
    • To ensure the correct allocation of stock (inventory) within customer in times of shortage or problems
    • Maintaining effective internal and external relationships
    • Accountable for account forecast accuracy for category
    • Accountable for the development/ implementation of customer strategy that supports category objective and meets the strategic needs of brands
    • Effectively manage trade spend 
    • Ensure Proper financial controls are implemented and adhered to. 

    What will make you successful

    • Commercial Degree or equivalent 
    • 5 - 8 years’ experience in Field Sales, Account Management, Business Development
    • FMCG experience (in channel and Category development), Key Account management, CCSD, Sales Operations and Marketing.
    • Sound Knowledge of Business/Financial, concepts and Principles. 
    • Strong Leadership and Motivational Skills
