Senior Manager: Beyond Wallet Unicorns Architecture and Delivery at MTN

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

Purposes of the role is to drive the Fintech technology strategy, architecture and delivery of Beyond Wallet Systems. Provide leadership for implementation of Beyond Wallet Systems, products and services.  Provide strategic input to planning, development, and implementation of tech strategy and architecture services. The role ensures there is alignment of technology strategy & architecture with Group Finco’s strategic objectives of Beyond Wallet Systems. It also ensures the management of strategic, cross-divisional initiatives and budget reporting for Beyond Wallet Systems.

This role is responsible to oversee and manage the technology for the different unicorns including for:

• Banktech
• InsurTech
• E-Commerce
• Remittances

Education:

• Minimum 4-year Academic Degree with Honours (B Eng. / BSc Computing, IT, Degree Preferred)
• Master’s in business administration/ relevant Master’s degree is advantageous
• Relevant certification/accreditation/membership with professional body as required for role e.g., TOGAF

Experience:

• 5 years relevant industry experience Payments, digital, fintech, telecommunication
• Experience with Wallet and Payments Systems
• Experience in Integration & Orchestration, Functional Architecture Design, Technical Solution Design.
• Experience in Business Analysis, Risk & Quality Management.
• Proficient in Software Engineering.
