Senior Manager Business Integration at De Beers Group

Job Description:

As a Senior Manager Business Integration, you will develop the Business Integration roadmap of improvements and opportunities across relevant functions.

• Engage business unit leadership to understand their priorities and programmes to be able to formulate the integrated view of business integration initiatives.
• Define the portfolio and scope of the Business Integration project pipeline.
• Analyse and propose improvements in reporting processes and systems.
• Integrate key functional reporting requirements e.g., Safety, Health, Environment, Sustainability, People, Supply Chain and align requirements cross – functionally to improve processes and information visibility.
• Ensure systems capability to address governance, controls, and reporting requirements of the business for external and internal reporting e.g., Business scorecard reporting.
• Support the availability of financial data required for statutory reporting and include validations for integrity of data.

This position is at a Band 5 level reporting into the Financial Controller.

Qualifications:

• Required: Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Information Systems
• Desirable: Post-graduate qualification in Business, Certification in Project Management

Your experience should include:

• 10 years relevant experience.
• Experience of SAP and associated systems.
• Strong track record in Leadership and Management positions.
• Expertise in understanding, communicating, and managing complex processes, including assigning owners, setting KPIs and embedding in business.
• Expertise and strong track record in leading large scale system initiatives.
• Advanced skills in identifying structuring, allocating and management of work across a portfolio.
• Proficient knowledge in enterprise resource planning (ERP) best practices.
• Proficient in information management.
• Advanced working knowledge and best utilization of information systems.
• Advanced levels of proficiency in developing and implementing integrated solutions.
• Proficient in applying commercial and business principles in decision-making.
• Advanced proficiency in business case development, quantifying value and addressing stakeholder requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of utilization and business applications of systems, enabling technology and information systems.
• Advanced knowledge of the mining industry and its associated financial practices, legislation and procedures.
