Senior Manager : Operations at AfroCentric Group

• To manage and be responsible for several business development activities performed by teams.
• Business development activities include, but are not limited to: The management of business leads; the development, implementation and management of appropriate strategies for the company;
• The creation and development of new business opportunities for the company; market intelligence services for the company; industry relationship management for the company; innovation management; and proposals and tenders management.
• Provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, systems and people in place to effectively
• Grow the organisation and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

Experience

• 10 years’ experience, with 5 years related experience at senior management level

Qualification

• Business Management degree or relevant business qualification

Specific Job Position

• Ensure a full understanding of existing industry relationships that exist between Afrocentric Distribution Services and other industry stakeholders
• Oversee the day-to day operations of the business and the work of Teams in area of responsibility (including IT, Support Services, New Business Support, Training and Customer Management Support)
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
• Provide business support and insight that enables the achievement of excellence and alignment to customer needs
• Behave in alignment with the Afrocentric Values
