Senior Material Tester (Afrimat Lyttelton, Centurion) at Afrimat

Duties and responsibilities

• The ability to do calculations and work with figures.
• A good knowledge of tests done in the lab according to the SANS 3001 testing methods will be an advantage
• Must be able to interpret results as per COTO & SANS 1083 specifications
• Must be able to function independently
• Be punctual and precise
• Be able to work under pressure and sometimes extended hours
• Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Have good administrative capabilities
• Be able to report on the test method completed and explain the results obtained

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Be prepared to work after hours and do standby
• Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Will be able to work independently as well in a team environment
