Minimum of 5 years experience in power distribution networks
Knowledge of power system modelling and analysis
High degree of computer literacy
Linux and MS Server experience
Knowledge of power system analysis/optimisation tools
Knowledge of project methodology
Knowledge of tenders and contract management will serve as an advantage
Must be available outside of normal working hours to attend to and direct emergency work as well as be available for standby duties
Key Performance Areas
Develop working knowledge of the functionality supported by the various ADMS applications and support services, such as Research and self-study using the documentation provided with the system and other resources as well as attend ADMS User Group seminars, trainings and seminars
Manage the portfolio of ADMS projects to minimise overlap and co-ordinate project inter-dependencies and cross-cutting impacts, schedule and participate in regular project reviews and inter-disciplinary checks and evaluate the feasibility of project proposals and assign resources top projects
Develop ADMS reporting and data manipulation which includes using reporting and programming tools supplied with the ADMS system, such as SPL programming and reporting tools
Mentor staff by coordinating training on aspects of the ADMS system and provide guidance on how to initiate, execute and document ADMS projects
