Senior Project Manager - Contractor at LabourNet

The Role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and ensuring effective execution of simultaneous projects. Ensuring that projects are in line with the Group Vision, Product and Technology Roadmap, yielding a positive ROI. The Project Manager is additionally required to monitor and ensure strategic project goals are met, mitigating any risks.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Degree in Business Management / Informatics or related field
• PMBOK, Prince2 or equivalent qualification
• Project Certified Professional
• Exposure within a Payroll/HR Technology environment will be advantageous

Minimum Experience Required:

• Overall, 10 years + experience in a Project Management/Lead role
• Experience managing and executing projects using PMBOK / Prince2 standards
• Proven success in the execution of projects, in line with the project plan
• Proven experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with Jira and other project management tools
• Experience in working with various methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile)

Responsibilities:

Communication

• Create the relevant opportunities and spaces for effective communication between stakeholders
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Monitor and report on progress of projects and adjust as needed

Project Plan

• Determine and define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Coordinate resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Align project objectives with company goals, and ensure project team is clear on objectives
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet budget

Project Management

• Develop and implement project management procedures and methodologies to achieve business goals
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Lead project planning sessions
• Lead planning and/or implementation of projects from conception to final product release
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
•  Drive timely delivery, and contain scope and manage the budget
• Manage the relationship with client and all stakeholders
• Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans
• Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
• Evaluate and assess result of project
