Senior Risk Officer at City of Cape Town

Requirements:

• Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification.
• Five (5) years’ relevant experience in the field of risk management.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong verbal communication, facilitation, presentation, and report writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience in integrated risk management software (advantageous).

Key Performance Areas:

• Implement and maintain professional Integrated Risk Management (IRM) functions city-wide.
• Formalize the City's risk exposure in line with IRM standard operating procedures.
• Embed an IRM culture across the City.
• Manage risk management reporting.
• Collaborate with fellow professionals on matters of common interest and share information.
• Perform administrative tasks to ensure the effective facilitation and implementation of IRM in the City.
